Romania is it worth it?

Question

I know I can google about Romania, but has anyone been there, any experience, bad or good? Is it a beautiful country? I plan to go there soon for holidays and I'm curious! Any answer is welcome

Totally worth it!  The beautiful city of Sibiu was the EU's cultural capital for 2007. The medieval town of Sighisoara is well preserved and fascinating. The thermal baths around Oradea such as Baile Felix and Baile 1 Mai are renowned for their spas and therapeutic treatments. The beautiful Carpathian mountains are breathtaking and Sinaia is a charming town that is perched on top of the mountains.  The seaside resort towns like Eforie Nord and Neptun near Constantza have a non stop party atmosphere, especially when sommer comes and students are out of school.  Bucuresti used to be called the "Paris of the east" and is now a very modern and cosmopolitan city that boasts the Palatul Poporului, which is the second largest building in the world.  Those are just the most well known attractions in beautiful Romania, some of the most memorable experiences can be the simplest too, such as a weekend in the mountains or visiting historic and peaceful monasteries and relaxing in the countryside.  I have had nothing but wonderful experiences in Romania and I am very sad that I am unable to go there this summer, as I have for the last 4 summers in a row.  There is always something new to discover, but I love things that are off the beaten path, so i constantly seek out unique sights or explore the city I'm in more in depth.  The people that complain about gypsies, theft and organized crime have either had bad experiences in "touristy" areas or they are passing on a stereotype that I personally have never noticed in my many experiences in all areas of the country.

Hello there.I don`t know if this will help you, but i`m from Romania.Yes, it`s true...we have gipsy,bad roads and poor people.But we also have beautiful mountains,the only one cementery that makes fun of death...and much more.

So...practicaly it`s like in any other country....good things and bad things.
