Romanian Gypsy aiming for a fourth win in a row through the Bet On Your Mobile At Williamhill.Com at Newcastle
Contesting for the £118 prize money are Twenty Four, Cape Flag, Romanian Gypsy, Sugarland Hippy, Highview Future and Myella Duke. The Grade A1 Bet On Your Mobile At Williamhill.Com will be raced over 480 metres flat at Newcastle on Wednesday, 16th May.
The line-up is quite versatile and talented as majority has posted victories recently with an entry reaching out for a hat trick and another one trying to achieve beyond the hat trick.
One of the most convincing entries among the candidates is Romanian Gypsy, Winetavern Oscar’s three-year-old blue and brindle daughter out of b***h, Shesinthelounge.
She rolled into the new season on 7th January in the Grade A2 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes at Newcastle over 480 metres. Romanian Gypsy qualified as the runner up after taking 29.61 seconds to race and leapt through the ¾ of a length by which the 2/1 favourite winner, Roker Titan, led.
Her first seasonal success surfaced after losing five races. She won the Grade A3 William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV on 9th February at Newcastle over 480 metres. She completed the trip in 30.29 seconds and led the runner up, Stay On Lass, by two lengths.
The 6/4 favourite of the race, Corrin Brave, took 30.56 seconds to reach the other end of the wire.
On 15th March, Romanian Gypsy timed a 480 metres race at Newcastle in 29.58 seconds and took charge of the final 6 ¾ lengths. Bay City Quest qualified as the runner up.
Her last three attempts at Newcastle culminated into wins.
She was the 5/2 joint favourite winner of the Grade A3 William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV on 3rd May over 480 metres. She clocked the track distance in 29.40 seconds and led the runner up, Springwell Bolt, by just half a length. The runner up completed the trip in 29.44 seconds.
Her most recent race and success was in the Grade A2 William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes on 12th May at Newcastle over 480 metres.
She made it to the other end of the wire in 30.03 seconds and led the 5/2 favourite runner up, Adamant Maldini, by short head’s difference.
She has all the possibilities of extending the wins beyond the hat trick tonight.
