Romanian or Hebrew name?

Is the name Jarwel a Hebrew or Romanian name?I think it is a first name.

  1. The letter 'w' is not in the Romanian alphabet except  for foreign names and lone words where they call it 'Ve'. The word for 'tram' is 'tramvai' from Eng. 'tram-way' and for 'toilet' is 'veceu' from Eng.'WC'.

    'J' is pronounced /zh/ as in French or the 'si' of 'vision'.

    Therefore I think the name is more likely to be Hebrew or Yiddish (Hebrewised German) where it would be pronounced /yarr.vel/.
