Romantic, cheap vaca spot??

Question

So I am trying to plan a vacation with my long distance boyfriend whom I havent seen in two months. We want a romatic get away at a reasonable price (not much more than 1000 including airfare) I would really like to go somewhere in the carribean. Any suggestions??

$1000 is very low price. If you are traveling in the off season then this might work. Have you given St. Martin a thought?

Because both of you are living in the south, a good place to visit that is very romantic is Savannah, GA.  Savannah is a very historic town, has TONS of history, horse drawn carriage rides, trolly tours, Tybee Island beach, lots of water front views, River Street which is where a lot of the tourism is.  The city is pretty big and offers plenty of things to do for visitors.

If I knew where you were right now I could give you a better answer.  Some places in the caribbean might be $1000 for someone in florida (as an example) but $1400 for someone in New York.  check out redtag.com (possibly redtag.ca)  expedia.com travelocity.com  Search for last minute deals.  It may be best to plan on going somwhere but not actually deciding where til the week before so you can cash in on the last minute deals (which can pay off HUGE sometimes).  Check with a local travel agent.  Let them know what you are looking for and see what kind of deals they can find you as well.

this site it great check it out and another way you can save is not staying in 5 star hotels or something cause when your in the carrribean most of your time should be on the beach and outside so your not even going to be in your room that much so you dont need that nice of one

really cheap trips on there. i went on a 7 day cruise, booked my flight through the west jet and the cruise in the cruise page, wasnt very much, $300 for the cruise and 300 for the flight from toronto to flordia
