So does anybody know any good restaurants for valentine's day perfect for couples? and why is it good? if you have or heard of things about this place. oh btw, anybody ever heard of the thai and vietnamese cuisine lemon grass? I heard it was really good, but I like to take my boyfriend out for some steaks and ribs, though.. I heard a lot of bad things about Houston Steaks and Ribs :\ so idont plan on going there, I want to go somewhere romantic and it has to be nice inside. By the way I live in Ontario Canada.

  1. Well, it wasn't for Valentine's Day but my boyfriend took me to David Duncan House for my birthday at the end of December.  Here's a link to their website:

They do a lot of stuff tableside, has a really good wine list and they do have steaks.  Their dessert menu is amazing - they have a cake on there that they have won awards for and it is so delicious.  Take a look at the gallery on the website - the pictures are great but scarcely do it justice either.  Hope you find a nice place to go to if this isn't your cup of tea.

  2. i hear la castile is supposed to be very romantic but very expensive, my husband took me to ruth chris s steakhouse accross from square one mall in mississauga last year for valentines day and it was great, awesome service the food was still sizzling on the plate when it got to the table, its dressy and a little pricy but worth it

  3. you can check here, Ontario restaurants list:

  4. Just went to Mistura...nice Italian restaurant on Davenport owned by Massimo Capra.

Very nice inside...Might be a little late to be booking for Valentine's Day, but you never know...

  5. I would recommend the Purple Pig at Yonge and Richmond St, down from the Bay at Queen St, they have good selection of southern BBQ.

  6. The most romantic restaurants that require a reservation. Otherwise, just go to the Baton Rouge, they serve steaks and all that stuff, also Milestones is really good, but the Pickle Barrel is great from what I heard. Good luck!

  7. La Castile on Dundas near the 427 is quite romantic.  A little pricey, but not bad at all and the food is good too.  It's supposed to look like you're in a castle... hence the name... and it is dimmly lit and very nice.  It also has an even more romantic lounge in a section of it's own... very secluded little tables and again, dimmly lit with a piano player.  If not on Valentine's Day, try it some other time.  Dress up too... it's that kind of place... a lot of men in suits etc...  .  I would recommend making a reservation, just to play it safe.  The number is 905-625-1137.  Have fun no matter what you end up doing!
