I am looking for a romantic restaurant in Orlando. Something that would be a shortish cab ride from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

  1. I would definitely recommend Nona's in the Portofino Hotel (by Universal Studios). It has very authentic Italian food in a quaint, romantic atmosphere. My boyfriend and I go there every year on our anniversary. The grounds of the hotel are very romantic too!!

  2. If you are going to Epcot plenty of romantic restaurants in there. Le Chefs de France or over at Mexico San Angel Inn. After diner walk around the lake and enjoy the fireworks at night cant get any better.

For both places make reservation 407 WDW DINE

Cabs are expensive spend your cab money on Margaritas instead.

  3. I would second the motion for Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. It is the best restaurant in Orlando, and very romantic, in my opinion. If this is a special occasion for you, and you don't mind dropping some big bucks on this romantic evening, then it is well worth it.

  4. Planet Hollywood

  5. You can have a romantic meal on Disney property...

Victoria's and Albert's at the Grand Floridian is the top restaurant on property -- and no kids allowed.  Fancy dress is required.

California Grill is located at the very top of the Contemporary Resort, and has excellent food as well.

  6. Consider Antonio's Restaurant (it's off of Sand Lake & I-4).  Very moderate price for exceptional service & food (Italian, high end).  Ambiance is very good too.  On line reservations is available and recommended.  We've never been disappointed.  Been there many times and this has become our annual anniversary spot.

In the Disney area, I've heard many good things (haven't tried any in the hotel, however heard many positive things from those that work for Disney) with their Signature Restaurants located in the Floridian Hotel (in the Disney area).  Also heard many positive feedback from friends about JIKO located in the Animal Kingdom Hotel (view of the safari) while dining (although its a buffet).

    Hope this helps!

  7. Hey, well since Disney is such a large place I would say check out something close: Downtown Disney. I wouldn't say it was 100% Romantic but the dining here is a lot of fun and after you can check out the shops/fireworks/water or the clubs.
