Dear all,

It will be my first wedding anniversary next Thursday, I have planned what to do and where to go, but the main crux of the itinerary : the Dinner, I have no idea where to go?

I am thinking somewhere along Clarke Quay, some restaurant with nice romantic atmosphere or at least some degree of quiet around us, but of course not restricted to that area. Can anyone give me some quality suggestions?

  1. We go to Olive Garden once in the while, good food and inexpensive OR come to Seattle and visit Space Needle Restaraunt

  2. it doesn't have to be fancy to be romantic, take her somewhere that she has asked about going to (it shows you listen!), or where you had a memorable evening before (1st date?  where you ate when you propsed?)

the most romantic place my guy could take me is the place by the beach with my favorite hot dog and fries

  3. hi, how abt The Jewel Box at Mt Faber?you can see a beautiful scenery from the mountain, you can check out 88db website for more details on this restaurant and check out on other restaurants where you can bring your wife to dine in and don't forget to get her a bouquet of flower..happy anniversary

  4. A "romantic" restaurant is small, dark and quiet.  The word "burger" does not appear in its name, neither does it belong to a national chain.  There is soft music playing, if not live, on the PA system.  Obsequious waiters appear just before you need them, and leave immediately after satisfying your needs.  Think of the scene outside Pasquale's Place (or whatever it was called), in "Lady and the Tramp."  That's romance.  Your job is to find such a place and make reservations there.

  5. What major city are you in or near? I can suggest some places. (I can't believe he suggested the Olive Garden.)

-How about a Dinner Cruise? Oooh La La

-Or find a restuarant that has a chefs table (a table in the kitchen where the cooks prepare your meal right in front of you.) They even show you what other dishes on the menu look like before they're taken to the guests in the dining room. Most places don't offer this service on weekends because the kitchen gets hella busy. They may let you do dessert there on weekends though.

-Hire a chef to cook for you in your home. That would be such a wicked job for culinary students. (You save money... get one to do savory foods and another to do desserts.)

    Try these places:

    Cherry Garden

    Melt: The Wolrd Cafe

    Dolce Vita

    Morton's
