Rome, Italy - elegant restaurant recommendation needed.?

I am getting married in Rome next March. I am looking for a luxuriously elegant restaurant with excellent food for a party of about 10 people for the wedding dinner. I am especially interested in the setting providing a feeling like you are in a palace with fine furnishings - fine heavy drapings with deep colors, plush furniture, oil paintings on the wall, candle lit, fine tableware, etc. The interior decor throughout the St. Regis in Rome is a good example of what I am looking for, but the restaurant there, Vivendo, looks a bit too contemporary for me. I considered La Pergola at the Hilton Cavalieri and La Terrazza at Hotel Eden, and while they have wonderful views, the luxurious setting I was looking for with the deep dark colors wasn't there. I also considered Sapori del Lord Byron, but it also was lacking in the setting I desire. I would greatly appreciate anyone's recommendation who could help me along with where I could see some pictures online of your recommendation.

  1. I know just the place for you, but it's a little out of Rome. It's near Grottaferrata and it's called Villa Grazioli. It used to be the home of a cardinal or a bishop (can't remember now!). It's very 17-1800s, with all original furniture and decorations. There is an excellent restaurant and then there are other rooms where they serve you drinks or coffee and tea that are like sitting rooms with armchairs and coffee tables. Some of them have fireplaces too. There is a very nice garden and a beautiful view.

Check this link where you can get phone numbers and see pictures. Hope you like it!!
