We are planing to hit these three cities in a few weeks,, But my buddies who claims to have talked to someone who has been to all three in july says its way too hot. I loked online and the average temps are cooler than they are in NY, which I live in. Anyone confirm or is this just not true?

  1. They are all fine in July.  Just drink a lot of water.  If you think it's too hot in the middle of the day, do a lot of your sightseeing early in the morning, and in the late afternoon, and spend the midday hours back at your hotel, or in a cafe, or in an air-conditioned museum.

  2. I live in Italy. The past couple of weeks here have been mostly in the 90s and humid. Whether that's too hot for you depends on your tolerance for heat. I've been out both of the last two weekends without a lot of problems, but I used to live in Florida and Washington, DC - it isn't a lot different here.

  3. I was in Nice and St Tropez last July and August and I thought I was going to die! It was so freeking hot! Cooler than in NY, no way! Try like 95-100 on average. If you dont mind sweating and lugging around water bottles, you will be fine. All 3 are beautiful cities! Have a wonderful vacation!

  4. I have a friend who lives in Rome- I IM him frequently. The average temp in Rome in June has been close to 90 degrees. He says it's been awful...

  5. i have been to barcelona in d month of july...there is d beach so u can enjoy d beach..i really loved barcelona and wouldnt mind going there again....nice place...try lloret de mar also....where i live which is in europe its 33 degrees today...is that too hot for you?

  6. i'm in nice right now (well, st tropez but its close) its WAY too hot for me, especially since air conditioning isn't anywhere to be found. I would not be here if had known earlier, but the weather forecast said low 80s which is a lie because it's like, 95 right now. I think it might be that it's so humid that my whole family is dying. We had to go out and spend 100s of dollars on fans, but three in every room isn't even enough. It's too hot to be comfortable and we can't wait to go home. If you're staying in a hotel, then chances are you will have air conditioning. We rented a beautiful house with a view of the ocean and it would be great if it weren't so hot. Now we can't wait to get home! Friends just joined us from venice, and its even hotter there.
