  1. Rome

from what i have heard from friends and family it is the better place. in my own personal opinion i would go to eastern europe (moscow, krakow, kiev, prague) but thats just me.

  2. I just visited Rome for the first time over Easter weekend, and I have been to Barcelona almost ten times now. For the costs, I'd say they're comparable. For a good art experience, I would say to go to Barcelona. The many great architectural works of Gaudi are amazing, Dali's house turned museum (which is amazing) is just a 30-40 minute drive from the center of Barcelona, there is plenty of Picasso, Goya, etc. The weather of the two places is also very comparable, so if you really want a good art experience go with Barcelona. Rome is full of amazing historic sights and some of the most amazing fountains I've ever seen, so keep that in mind too if that's your thing..

  3. Rome is the better art experience because of all the architecture and museums... September is expensive and packed, but worth it --- try to stay in a hostel, but stay away from Termini because it is kinda scary with druggies and homeless at night

For low cost look into Budapest... very fun...

Austria isn't very cheap, but beautiful with tons of art, culture and weiner schnitzel

  4. Rome - Art & beauty

  5. You'll want to wait until mid to late September to travel as high season is typically until mid September. You'll get better air and hotel rates this way. That said - both cities are good for art lovers. The architecture is beautiful. If you are into Museums, I would suggest Rome. You can take a day trip (or better yet, spend a night or two) to Florence and visit the Accademia and the Ufizi Gallery.

And, of course, Rome has the Vatican museum.

For a cheap package including airfare and hotel check out

They have a 4-night Rome package for a decent price and a combo package featuring Rome & Florence.

    Happy Travels!

  6. Rome is a greater city than Barcelona and is the capital of Italy. As a bigger city, has more options, especially for art experience. Rome is a baroque city, plenty of catholic churches. Not very big museums (as Louvre, British Museum or even Uffici), but a lot of medium size museums, with some top masterpieces (in Vatican museums, galleria Borghese...). A plus is also the Roman heritage (Colosseum, Forum...).

Barcelona, in the other hand, is a most compact city, with lively nightlife and active cultural life, although not very  big sized. Biggest museum is MNAC, with the one of the best Middle Ages collection around. Old city has a nice medieval taste. But highlights for art experience are actually Gaudi and Modernist buildings and contemporary architecture (Herzog and De Meuron, Foster, Nouvel, Calatrava)

Weather and costs are very similar for Rome and Barcelone. In a straight line, distance between the two is only 600 km.

Lunch menu from 7 to 10 euros. One-way bus ticket is 1,25 euros in Barcelona, 1 euro in Rome.

Even if you want to do a twin-center holiday, they are several low-cost airlines connecting both cities.

  7. non of them. come Iran. Iran is so beautyful
