Rome!  I went to Florence and Rome my junior year of college, and there is so much to do and see in Rome.  Don't miss the nightlife in Campo di Fiori.  Truly, there is something about Rome - I would give anything to go back!  Florence is beautiful as well but you can always plan a few day trips to see the sights there.
