  1. The best thing is too do go to a travel agency and get a book or intrernet travel or wikipedia

  2. Ive lived in Rome for 5 years and know it pretty well. One can describe Rome in so many different ways. Here's what they are:

Charming, Beautiful, Chaotic, Unorganized, Historic, Beautiful, Friendly, Messy, Frustrating, Fast, Slow, Lazy.

That may sound strange but believe me its all that.

Rome is a large city, largest in Italy and is full of tourists usually year round, in fact tourism is it's main business. They're are many historic sites to go visit and many many restaurants and cafe's of course.

Rome is considered "South Italy" Although geographically it's pretty much in the center of Italy. South in the sense that this is  the typical Italy we as know as of Pizza, Pasta and Scooters and usually warm weather etc.. (North Italy is a different country all together, but thats another subject).

The food in Rome is great. Food in Italy is defined by the region. And every Region is proud of their food and there's competition of course as to who's food is better, Rome is no different.

    Roman food is famous for:

    1. Spaghetti alla Carbonara" or simply known as "Carbonara".

    2. "Penne all' Arrabbiata" are so called because of its particularly spicy sauce due to the hot pepper. (Arrabbiata means "Angry" in  English.

    3. Saltimbocca alla Romana

    4. Pasta cacio e pepe

    5. Pomodori con riso

Of course there are many more, but those are famous Roman dishes.

Also the Pizza is great and many different styles.

If you go to Rome, go to the section called Trastevere, (thats the old Rome cobblestone streets) and there are many great restaurants. My favorite is: LA SCALA - You wont be dissapointed.

    Ciao!

  3. Rome, when I last went was beautiful.  Get a travel book, look up the sights choose what you want to see (everyone's tastes are different).  Avoid being there in July or August.

  4. Take an almost empty bag and buy some really nice clothes there. Look up what you're interested in on the web

  5. I was there last year for 3 days, the old buildings etc are lovely but I thought Rome itself was dirty every building seemed to be covered in graffitti it really turned me off.

the food was lovely tho i fell in love with melon and parma ham.

The people werent overly friendly and the roads were night mare to cross.

But dont let that put you off you should experience it for yourself, we stayed in one of the campsites which was a lovely place everything you need on the site pool, jacuzzi, showers etc for think it was €10 each per night
