Rome vs. Chicago????

Question

If you would be able to choose where to Live and to finish your college, what would you choose and why, please some examples why is Chicago better or why is Rome better????

And I speak both Languages so that's not a problem,lol????

Ah, Chicago has baseball but Rome has world class football!

What a dilemna to have, Rome or Chicago - two amazing cities! Both cities have top notch sport teams, good food and wonderful museums.

Your decision should be based on where you can receive a better education for your field and where you will be able to make better contacts. Also factor is where you will have a better support system. Living in a city where you don't know anyone can be lonely although making friends should be easy in an educational setting. Will family and friends be more likely to visit you in one city rather than another?

Chicago has baseball.  Rome does not.  I'd choose Chicago.

Actually, Rome does have a baseball team in the Italian A2 league, and Nettuno (about an hour from Rome) is in the A1 league. http://www.baseballitalia.com/

However, the program available at each school should be more of a deciding factor than the city. How does each fit into your area of major concentration and your prospects after graduation? If that's equal, then I would choose Rome. Primarily this would be for the exposure to another culture and the opportunity to travel in Europe during holiday periods. The international experience will also be good for your resume. The winter's are also milder in Rome which I personally prefer.
