Seriously, haha, everyone says its the 'greatest love tragedy ever'....but no-one ever seems to think the characters are only around 14/15 (many laugh at these ages now saying they are in love) and everyone seems to forget that romeo was also just as madly in love with another girl before he saw juliet (Rosalind)..so seriously..the greatest love story ever? yes its very sad, but no-one ever seems to stop and think about, they barely even know eachother, so is it more lust than love as they do not know eachother enough? and they are nieve? haha im just wondering on other peoples opinions thanks =]

and also...grr...i HATE analysing every single word shakespeare says...he wrote for stupid people in his age! they did not sit down for hours analysing every word! (yep im doing an essay at the moment lol) :)

  1. It's just another silly story written by Shakespeare

  2. I guess shakespeare wanted to make "love at first sight" seem possible. I get what you mean about the analyzing -_-"

I agree. It's naive and it's probably out of lust, but maybe it was more than that.

  3. too true! realisticly, it would be lust and hormones (young teens) more than love..! would have been interesting to see if it had worked out lol! still very sad though but the whole rosalind thing puts a new perspective on it!!!

  4. i totally agree with you but its love at first sight...and they were never ment to be together because they die and you dont know what happens after they die...
