Romeo Scout favourite for Text ´dogs´ To 60006 Trophy
Romeo Scout is expected to prevail in the Text ´dogs´ To 60006 Trophy at Romford in England on Friday, May 18, 2012. The winner of the 400 metres flat race will bag a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 20:18 GMT and a total of six quality hounds will be seen in action in it. Their names are follows: Romeo Scout, Airforce Vegas, Maglass Rumble, Gilbeyhall Ned, Marlfield Luke and Droopys Falcon.
Out of the above mentioned runners, the bookmakers have tipped Romeo Scout to finish on top of the table. However, he has never managed to win any Grade OR event, which will discourage the punters from risking money in his favour today.
The P. Young’s trained hound recently took part in a couple of trial runs at Romford and his performances in them were quite brilliant. If he manages to carry the same sort of momentum into today’s race, it will become extremely difficult to stop him from
winning.
The black dog has taken part in three Grade OR events until now and the best he could manage was a runner up spot once. Other than that, he also secured the third place once, which shows that he is capable of fighting at the front.
However, Romeo Scout will need an extra effort to bring up his maiden victory in this class. He has a solid chance of breaking the shackles today. He is the son of Bombastic Shiraz out of Fabulous March and was born in March 2010.
On the other hand, Airforce Vegas might manage to make an impression in the race, as he appears to be in good shape. He has also been doing a few trial runs and it will be a big test for him to take the top spot at Romford.
The R. Holloway’s trainee has never taken part in the Grade OR event, thus the punters will be hesitant over placing bets in his favour. However, he has the tools to deliver a winning show today.
Airforce Vegas is the son of Head Bound out of Boozed Libby and was born in May 2010.
Other than the top two favourites, Maglass Rumble might also manage to attract a few bets in his favour.
