Romeo You Decide determined to thrive at Yarmouth after week-long training
After getting an extensive training throughout the last week, the D. Firmager trained black dog, Romeo You Decide, is fully determined to finish first in the Heat 4 race of the Ladbrokes 66th East Anglian Greyhound Derby that will be held tonight at Yarmouth
racecourse.
The open race over 462 meters is scheduled to start at 19:53 (GMT). Victory will earn £125 to the two-year-old veteran hound whose profile is adorned with excellent feats.
Romeo You Decide demonstrated some impressive performances during the last couple of months. During July, he gained a couple of triumphs along with a runner-up rank and a third.
The son of Brett Lee out of Fabulous Jodie beautifully extended his winning momentum to August and sealed the ace title of the Caffreys Puppy Classic Trial Stakes at Nottingham. He stunned all by winning Caffreys Puppy Classic - Heat 5 with the mammoth margin
of 5¼ lengths.
These two back-to-back triumphs proved to be a big morale-booster for him. The brilliant sprinter stepped forward to finish first in the Molson Coors Puppy 480m Trophy that also took place at Nottingham. It was his last outing.
As a whole, Romeo You Decide has a decent record in OR format of the game. If he manages to utilize his talent and capabilities fully, he will be able to thrive quite convincingly in tonight’s marathon.
Droopys Reason is the only runner who can disturb Romeo You Decide on the track. The S. Cahill trained blue dog gained a lot of momentum by winning a T2 race with the huge margin of 7 lengths on August 29.
Prior to this, the novice hound grabbed a 5½-length clean victory in the Watch Coral TV Only In Coral Shops Puppies, held at Romford on August 10.
The son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Droopys Lotto started his career in April 2012 and marvellously accomplished a hat-trick of victories in the month of May.
Thus, we can expect a stern battle between Droopys Reason and Romeo You Decide with the latter having higher chances to thrive. Good luck to both the mighty contestants.
