Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 starting eleven.
The player went on to make a substitute appearance for Chelsea in the game against Manchester City, and his performances seemed to do enough to impress Rafa Benitez.
The newly appointed Chelsea manager liked the way Romeu played against City and went on to place him in the starting eleven team against Fulham.
That game against Fulham went on to end as a draw, but despite that fact, Romeu looked to be impressive in the game and many feel that the time for him to finally establish himself as a Chelsea player is here.
Even though there has been so much talk regarding the player and his future at the club, he is still rather disappointed with the fact that Chelsea weren’t able to beat Fulham.
This is because the draw now sees Chelsea going into their seventh game without a win. Considering how the team was flying all over the place at the start of the season, which is a rather disappointing statistic to say the least.
"I was happy to be involved for the whole game, but the main thing I want is for the team to win, which we didn't," Romeu told the club's official website, when talking about the game against Fulham.

"We didn't concede a goal, which was positive, but a club like Chelsea should always be focused on winning the game, so it was disappointing.”

"Every player needs to be ready when a chance comes along. Obviously it's not as easy as you would like when you haven't been playing regularly, but it's just about going out there and playing football in the way you always have done."
With Benitez showing a lot of faith in the youngster, and with Chelsea in desperate need of some midfielders, it is now time for the Spaniard to prove his worth and claim a spot in the team himself.
