In their infinite wisdom, Yahoo has removed the option of reverting to the old (much better) format. I doubt that their arrogance will permit them to backtrack on this despite the mass exodus that appears to be happening.

Unfortunately, it looks like the only way to remove the beta message boards is to go to your favorites list, right click on your yahoo MB and select "Delete."
