Ron Artest's Jersey Number?

Does any have a speculation of why Ron Artest chose the number 96 for his jersey?

Reasons for choosing number 96:

1. 96 wins can get you a championship.

2. There was 96 buildings where he grew up.

3. 9 = q, 6 = b (9 is lower case q and 6 is lower case b, qb stands for Queensbridge, where Artest grew up.

I dont know why its 96 but the reason 93 is because the 9 was for the "Q" in Queens and the 3 was for the "B" in burg. Queensburg

People he is 96! NOT 93! In his career he started off with "15" for when he was in college, he wore 23 to honor Jordan, 91 to honor Rodman, back to 15 to his college number, 93 to honor Queenbridge and 96 to honor queenbridge. Anyone who says he wears 93 is flat out WRONG!
