Ron Artest has gotten a lot of publicity

No one was talking about him these much until now that he got traded to the Rockets, and all these people are asking question on how he is going to mess the Rockets. I did'nt hear any Laker fan say Artest is going to mess up there team when he was going to get traded there, now all these Laker fans are like he is going to ruin the Rockets chemistry.IT CRACK'S ME UP

well, nobody cared about the Kings. Artest is on a title contender now, so that adds the element of media. and nobody was too worried about him in Lakerland as Bryant's ego is far too huge and his pull too strong for Artest to get away with any lockeroom shenanigans.

but now there's already rumors of friction between him and Yao. the media is going to eat this up all year long.

As a Lakers fan, I personally never wanted too see Artest with the team. Yeah, he would've brought a solid defensive game and added decent offense to the Lakers but let's face it, Kobe would've put Ron Artest in check the minute he arrived in L.A. I don't really care where Artest goes, so if Houston aquires his talent, lucky for them. Perhaps he will help make things interesting with the malfunctioning Rockets. Better yet, he might help Tracy McGrady get out of the first round of the playoffs since....well, forever!

Artest even before the trade got a lot of attention by not opting out and then regretting it. He changes he's mind like a girl in a dressing room. Why do you think Kings traded him for 3 bench players after passing on Maggette trade before? On the court he's very talented but off-the-court, he's a reck.

And I'm not a Lakers fan either but I also dont think that he'll mess them up if they are winning. If they are losing you expect somebody to say something not good, that's natural, Ron will just say one word to many.
