Ron/Hermione question..?

In Harry Potter, why do Ron and Hermione name their children Roe and Hugo? I like the names, but has Jo said anything about the names?

i dont really think she's said y she named them that...but im pretty much sure theres a reason behind it, jus like all the other names in the Harry Potter series...

not that i can remember. there was however a character named hugo bagman. i do not think that they would have named their child after him though.

Does it really matter why? Just because other characters happened to name their children after other people and have reasoning behind it doesn't mean that everyone naming a child (fictional or no) has a reason. Perhaps they like the names Rose and Hugo? I think that the answer to this question, however, is that Miss Rowling wanted to have them name their children Rose and Hugo. She doesn't need a reason - she's the writer.

Jo named then roe and hugo so as to have names close to ron and Hermione. i think she was jus doin that cuz ron's name begin win an r and hermione's name begins with an h.

Nope, there just Rose and Hugo because rons name starts with R and hermoines is H

so im pretty sure there is no real reason JK chose those names.

well I heard this sometime ago but Rose was a name of a flower and Harry suggested it since he named his daugther Lily,so Ron chose Hugo's name,dunno.
