Although the US has not attacked militarily, we have yet another instance of the US proposing to intervene. At what point will US citizens learn that it will be best to stay out of these conflicts and focus on protecting US interests at home?

  1. The US has already intervened politically. Last week, did you not hear that we stuffed all that aid in Georgia? This is another perfect example of intervention, where the US government will never learn sending all this military equipment, medicine, and etc, at the expense of the tax-payers. Yet, the people who support McCain, Bush, and all the currenct policies abroad are merely dumbed by the media, that we need to save our "ally" Georgia. I hope people will wake up rather than facing another Cold war, or facing an economic event. We need to stay out of their problems, rather than adding more fuel to the fire.

  2. It is interesting to me that we ask the Russians to listen to us when we refused to listen to them about the middle east.  Our neglect of diplomatic relations with the Russians has put us back closer to the old cold war divisions.  I agree that this government has destroyed our international network and cooperation.  Bush provoked this with the missile threat.  WE need a change in policy and personnel.
