  1. Interesting, a huge liberal Republican who doesn't care that much about the constitution wants Ron Paul's voters. I think we are too smart for that.

  2. WOw that's disappointing.

The only thing Ron Paul and John McCain have in common is the (R) besides their names.

  3. why SHOULD ron paul give out, sell out, or rent out the names of we, his supporters, to anyone?  we have already formed our own political party, which upholds the constitution and also supports ron paul himself, since he'd the only representative, as i see it, who is a true american patriot in DC.  we WANT ron paul as president.  we are against the iraq war as much as ron paul is, because we know, having studied the constitution, that only congress can declare war and ratify treaties.  congress did not declare war in iraq and anyone that believes that hasn't been studying.

no war that we have fought with the lives of our finest and bravest americans, our troops, since WWII, has been a legal war because none of them were declared as wars by congress.

we "paulistas," as i like to call us, are not the status quo, we do not think like the popular politicians and we don't agree with their stance.  we want to regain our country, not walk all about the world conquering it and making more trouble for us, the people of the united states of america.

what a lot of people looking at your question do not realize is that ron paul is dead serious about WE, THE PEOPLE, governing our own republic.  our representatives (like he has been, loyally and faithfully [american] voted in 10 times by the people of the state of TX), meaning senators too, should be holding office only with us, THE PEOPLE of this country, in mind.

and so, since so many puppeteers of the Big Two politicians manipulated the strings of the primaries to the extent that ron paul got no well deserved press so that americans might end up thinking (and i even heard some say it) that ron paul is "out there..." and was not heard BY [a vast number of] THE PEOPLE of our REPUBLIC, the best thing to do, which he--and we AMERICANS--did do, was to begin a group that thinks as americans should, which is for WE, THE PEOPLE, who have built up our own country based on what is in the constitution, the best document ever written for the freedom of people in the world.  and that organization is known as, for those of you that are interested:

    the campaign for liberty.

and, from there, from the groups that we meet in and discuss liberty and how to keep our country unto its own people under constitutional laws and not under an "evolving" constitution depending only on whatever happens to be politically popular, we may very well form a third party that refuses to kowtow to the SOS politicians and their games of imperialism all over the planet, but to pay attention to us, to WE, THE PEOPLE.

WE THE PEOPLE are so dam*ed sick and tired of our own country faltering while we are too controlled by federal government laws and committees, when in the constitution, it clearly states that the states of the union should choose and enforce their own laws so long as they pose no threat to the union of states and no threat to the constitution itself, and that we are to print our own money rather than to allow fiat dollars, with nothing to support them, such as commodities like silver and gold to be ordered to be printed by the secretive federal reserve board, thereby creating a false sense of fiscal security while meanwhile such printing really and in truth causing the erosion of your savings and your money, money that you earned and saved, not which the politicians gave to you.

it's so funny, DAR, that just last week, i wrote to mccain telling him that although ron paul would probably not accept, it would be smart strategy to publicly ask ron paul to be his running mate, in open discussion, aired on TV (which is where americans get their news, no longer reading THE NEWSPAPER).  but now we see that he is trying to get us to move over to his camp.  but we won't, will we?  we do not agree with his SOS politics, so why should we?

i say, "VIVA OUR CONSTITUTION," and "VIVA THE PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY," and i say "VIVA ANTI AMNESTY," and i say "VIVA DEMOCRACY, LIBERTY, AND THE FREEDOMS GRANTED TO US IN OUR CONSTITUTION," and i say, "DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING LESS THAN OUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSTITUTION."

because if we let it falter and collapse and allow these SOS politicians to gain control of us, we are simply going to lose what is ours, what the forefathers of this country fought so hard for, and rightfully so.

i sure hope the press plays tapes of what's happening at the minneapolis convention of us Paulistas today!  i doubt it will, however.  but that's okay too.  so many american people want back our own country as the land of the proud and the free that we are going to buck them all come this upcoming next 4 years.  and the more the public learns about the constitution, and why ron paul perpetually and constantly votes only for laws that are in accord with the constitution, the better off we all shall be, since he just may get elected president next time around.  the people are so fed up with the same old song federal government running every aspect of t

  4. It would be very dissapointing to see Ron Paul endorse McCain. Do you know how many times Paul has been bood at by the evangelical and conservative right? He's been practically silenced by the rest of the Republican party. McCain should stay with the platform he has now.

  5. pretty interesting and weird. i just hope paul doesnt give up his delegates to mccain, but i am happy that mccain is being influenced by pauls campaign.  i hope it influences his position

  6. i could not dream of something like this                              !

  7. I guess McSame is better than Nobama.

  8. Palin originally backed Paul for president. She apparently promised McCain something.

"has been negotiating with Rep. Ron Paul to win his support and acquire the names of his sympathizers among the 4,607 delegates and alternates at the Republican National Convention"

"acquire the names" is a bit creepy to me...

  9. Vote libertarian!

  10. Paul didn't agree to support McCain.  It's funny that McCain spent his time on debates ridiculing Ron Paul and now he is lobbying for his support.  Ron Paul voters shouldn't vote for Bob Barr anyway, they should vote Ron Paul.

  11. Anything for a gain McCain
