The Hannover goalkeeper is convinced that the Reds will start as favourites but admits that his side will certainly make it difficult for the hosts.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ron-Robert-Zieler-c31761 has admitted that Bayern Munich will be the outright favourites to emerge victorious at the weekend. He was talking ahead of Hannover’s trip to the Allianz Arena for their Bundesliga fixture against Jupp Heynckes’
team on Saturday, March 24. Hannover emerged as 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture in October last year.
The shot stopper mentioned that Bayern have been in sublime form of late and that it would be difficult to beat them in their own back yard. However, he vowed to fight until the very end and make it difficult for the former German
champions.
Bayern have scored 20 goals in their last four outings in all competitions which also includes a 0-0 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in the second semi-final of the German Cup. The Munich giants later went on to win the game
4-2 on penalties.
Zieler specified that Hannover are well prepared for the game and claimed that his side will give their all to get something from the game. He insisted that the AWD-Arena outfit are confident going into the game having beaten Bayern
previously this season.
However, he accepted that considering Bayern’s recent form and results, his side will have to perform out of their skins to get a result.
While talking to sports website, Goal.com, the 23-year-old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international further added: "Bayern are currently in very good form. They are the clear favourites. We will not go there and feel that we've already lost. We'll
try our best and then we'll see what happens in the end."
Hannover are currently seventh in the Bundesliga with 38 points and are fighting for a place in next season’s UEFA Europa League with the likes of Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881. An unlikely win over Jupp Heynckes’
men could push them up to the fifth spot and at the same will end Bayern’s hopes of winning this season’s Bundesliga.
The Munich giants are sitting second in the league standings with 54 points, five behind the current German champions Borussia Dortmund.
