The former Benfica and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 boss has expressed confidence that his side will grind out a good result in the upcoming Eredivisie clash against their arch-rivals on Sunday.
Feyenoord Rotterdam head coach, Ronald Koeman, has expressed confidence that his side will claim a good result in their upcoming Eredivisie encounter against PSV Eindhoven. The two sides will meet at Philips Stadion on Sunday,
September 23.
Although, the Eindhoven giants have not commenced their 2012/13 campaign very brightly, losing two of their five matches in the Dutch top tier thus far, they still have yet to drop even a single point at home.
Koeman has admitted that the Boeren boast an impressive record while playing in front of their home crowd in the recent years, and his side will have to put in their 100 percent if they are to secure a decent result.
“PSV still have problems in away games. However, they are a totally different side at home. But I still believe that we have a good chance. We all have to have a good day. Everyone has proven it before, including twice against
Dinamo Kiev. We can play well against a side that is seems to be better on paper than us”, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player was quoted as saying to the Dutch media.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148, who joined the Eindhoven giants earlier this summer on a free transfer, will watch the match upcoming fixture from the sidelines due to his suspension, but the Rotterdammers boss has stressed that PSV will not
miss the former AC Milan midfielder’s services much.
“Van Bommel is one of the key players for PSV, so it is a positive for us that he will be missing the game. At the same time, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 have so much quality in their squad that they can easily cope with losing a key player, and their
playing level does not really get down”, Koeman concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 and PSV both won two of their last five  head-to-head meetings, while the remaining game ended in a stalemate.
Koeman would be hoping that his side puts in a good show, and manage to secure a point or more at the end of the game.
