The former Barcelona player has praised the Catalan giants and believes that they are one of the best teams in the history of football.
Koeman recently voiced his opinion regarding the current Barcelona team and he believes that they are one of the best teams in history and can be labelled as perfect.
The Catalan giants are still not the most successful side in the history of the Spanish La Liga, with Real Madrid winning more titles in the league and in Europe as compared to Barcelona.
However, when Josep Guardiola took charge of the Spanish giants back in 2008, he made sure that he assembles a team which is near perfection and can beat each and every record on offer.
While playing under Josep Guardiola, Barcelona were able to impress throughout the three seasons. Even though the last season was not as successful as they were expecting it to be, they still managed to grab four out of six trophies they were competing for.
Josep Guardiola guided Barcelona to the first ever sextuple in the history of football, and no other club has managed to achieve it.
The Catalan coach, in total, managed to win 14 trophies while being the manager of the Catalan club, and that is the reason why he has managed to become one of the most successful coaches in Barcelona’s history.
After Cruyff, no one thought that Barcelona will reach such dizzying heights, but Guardiola was able to assemble a team, which is often labelled as one of the best teams in not only the world, but also in the history of football.
Recently, while giving out an interview, the former Barcelona defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 Koeman, spoke in the favour of the Catalan giants, admitting that Barcelona are a class apart and they can be called as perfect.
While addressing the press, Koeman said:
"At this moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are perfection. The best team in history."
There is no doubt that Barcelona are a class apart as compared to the other teams and that is the reason why their footballing philosophy was copied by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Del Bosque, who’s currently the coach of the Spanish national team.
