The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player admits that his side’s chances of acquiring the Manchester City youngster’s services on loan yet again are very faint, as several European clubs are keen to lure him away from Eithad Stadium.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258 Rotterdam head coach, Ronald Koeman, has ruled out the possibility of luring Manchester City youngster, John Guidetti, on another loan spell. The Swedish striker spent the 2011/12 campaign on loan at De Kuip Stadion.
The 20-year-old had a terrific season in Rotterdam, helping the fallen Eredivisie giants to finish second on the Eredivisie table by netting a phenomenal 20 goals in 23 matches.
Following the end of his season-long loan deal, the youngster returned back to the English Premier League champions. However, his phenomenal performances for the Rotterdammers did not go in vain, as several European clubs have
expressed interest in luring him away from Etihad Stadium before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Guidetti earlier expressed his desire to represent the Citizens this term. However, it seems very unlikely that the 20-year-old will be able to enjoy playing time at Etihad Stadium, as the Blues head coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, has
plenty of quality and experienced players at his disposal –and another loan spell seems to be on the cards.
The Swedish ace was earlier linked with a return to Rotterdam giants for another loan spell. However, Koeman has now ruled out the possibility of luring the young striker to De Kuip Stadion.
“Guidetti is getting too much attention. He's physically not okay and I'm not sure what his situation will be. Fans can shout his name from the stands, but it's not realistic. With all respect for John, we don't think about him.
We're looking for other strikers”, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven boss was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
The Dutch mentor went on to insist that when a player is loaned from other clubs, it brings severe pressure.
“So you must go for a loan from big clubs, where they also pay big salaries. If a guy like that comes to Feyenoord, people expect he will score 20 or 30 goals. So a striker must handle that pressure, it's hard to find a guy like
that”, Koeman concluded.
