Ronaldinho looking to be a part of Brazil’s 2012 Olympic squad
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361 midfielder and Brazilian superstar, Ronaldinho has gone on to reveal that he hopes to be a part of the Brazilian squad for as long as possible.
The player was given the opportunity to redeem himself against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mano-c23341 Menezes and went on to produce an exhilarating performance. The player went on to put up a fine display, which helped his side pick up a one goal to nil win over
Ghana. However, what was more interesting was the fact that the player seemed to link flawlessly with the rest of his squad and this looked to be rather amazing, considering he had been out of the team for so long. This led to the manager showering him with
praises and suggesting that he would be keeping the player around for a bit.
However, the midfielder has himself gone on to state that his plan is to be a part of the Brazilian Olympic squad that would be heading to London in 2012.
When talking about his return to the squad, the player is quoted to have said: "I hadn't played with most of the squad before, but I felt good. I am happy to be back, forming a part of the squad and helping the Brazilian team to victory"
He then went on to confirm that his future ambitions were to be a part of the team for a long time, as he added:
"Now it is time for hard work in my club, because the Olympics and the World Cup are coming. These are my objectives."
The Brazilian coach seems to have become a fan of the player, after only one performance. Menezes when talking about Ronaldinho is quoted to have said: "Ronaldinho is now in better shape physically. And because of this improvement, he is making the most
out of his obvious talent. He left a great impression at the end and that is what we expected of him"
Over the years Ronaldinho has proven that he is easily one of the greatest players to ever play the game. His touch, passing, footwork and ability to create magic out of nothing has been setting him apart from the rest for quite some time. However, with
him losing his form in the middle, many assumed that the player’s time was over as a regular for the national side.
Nonetheless, the dynamic midfielder has proven once again that he has just what it takes to be a part of any side out there.
