Brazilian footballer, Ronaldinho has gone on to call it quits on his career at Flamengo, with the player now becoming a free agent.
The footballer seems to have gotten rather frustrated with the way he was being treated at the club and at the same time, he insists that he has still not received all the salaries and wages that the club owe him.
The former player of the year has stated that the club owe him as much as sixteen million Euros, in salaries, image rights and bonuses. He took the case to court and the Labour Court of Rio de Janeiro have gone on to rule in favour of the Brazilian midfielder.
The court is set to decide in favour of the player in a few hours and soon after, the player will become a free agent.
Despite all the problems that he had at the club, he still went on to thank the club and the fans for what they did for him as he used his Twitter account to state: "I would like to thank once again all the support that I received at this club and I would like to say, from the bottom of my heart, that playing at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361 was an honour"
The president of Flamengo, Patricia Amorim, seems to be rather shocked and taken back by the players decision, as he is quoted to have said: "We have always taken care of all matters pertaining to Ronaldinho at a high level and did so internally.

"We did not expect this attitude from him. Now, the case is in the hands of our legal department, which will take all legal actions to protect Flamengo's interests.”

"This club is bigger than any person and that will always be the case."
At the moment, a number of teams in the Premier League are reportedly looking to make a move for the former AC Milan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player.
Having played in most of the top leagues in Europe, the Premier League is the only one that the Brazilian hasn’t participated in and this could push him to making the move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, in order to see out his career on a high.
