Ronaldinho will not leave AC Milan
Ronaldinho has stated that he will not be leaving AC Milan.
The Brazilian attacker was linked to a move to the French League after he suggested he would like to finish his career in France. Ronaldinho started his career in Europe at Paris St Germain.
However, the AC Milan forward was quick to clarify his comments and stated that he was committed to the Serie A club.
“I will certainly not leave in January," he said.
The often controversial striker has had a rapid downturn as a footballer, followed by a rebirth. At Barcelona his form saw him become the world’s best footballer, but rumours of excessive partying and
a dramatic dip in form decreased his value. This allowed AC Milan to sign the player. The Brazilian has gone some way to resurrecting his career since then.
Ronaldinho had been linked to a move away from the San Siro after it was rumoured that Kaka may return to AC Milan, after his unsuccessful spell at Real Madrid.
"Kaka? He made history at this club. If he comes back then he will be welcome," said Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho confirmed that he is happy at the club. His form has improved since he arrived at Milan and he has become one of the club’s most important players.
Ac Milan are in fourth place in Serie A as they have an inferior goal difference to Inter Milan and Napoli. The team has picked up 11 points from six games and will look to the likes of Ronaldinho to lead
the team.
The former world player of the year did not rule out a return to the Brazil national team. Ronaldinho missed out on the World Cup in South Africa after he was left out of the squad by manager Dunga.
Ronaldinho has insisted he is enjoying life at Milan and said, "I am fine at Milan and I have faith in the president. For my future we will see. I hope to get back into the Brazil team.”
