The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049 is hoping to get close to his record in the upcoming World Cup
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international Miroslav Klose can beat his goalscoring feat in the competition. Klose is
still active on the international scene and is expected to emulate Ronaldo as the top scorer in the tournament.
The SSC http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 forward is looking forward to surpass the Brazilian’s long-standing landmark of bagging 15 goals in World Cup games, and will equal his record if he scores a goal in the tournament that will be held in Brazil. The
former player claimed he is concerned over his record, but not to a large extent.
Ronaldo stated that his historic achievement is different to that of his German counterpart, as every player makes his own individual story. Therefore, he said that even if Klose scores and levels or beats his feat, he will still
be remembered in the history books forever.
"That worries me a little bit, but not much. I think my history, and his history are separate, everyone makes their own story,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
"Regardless, if Klose does score in the World Cup and he matches me or surpasses me, I know my history will not be erased by this,” he mused.
"Therefore, I have a small concern, but there is no envy, since he's playing and I'm not. We both have our own stories, mine has already been written but he is writing his now. It is what it is," he added.
As a result of this, he suggested that he is only worried a little bit and is definitely not jealous of Klose breaking his record. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 further added that a comparison would be unfair as the Germany man is still active for his
national side and he retired ages ago. The former star hung up his boots in 2011 and last played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855.
