City were crowned as the new champions on Sunday after one of the most thrilling matches of the season.
As the Blues played host to QPR, they were tipped as heavy favourites to take all three points from the fixture. However, the feat more difficult than anyone would have expected and Mancini’s men were put to the test.
Although Mark Hughes’ men were down to 10-men and even gave away the lead to City, they managed to fight their way into the match. After they found the equalizer, they even managed to go into the lead against the expectations of anyone.
As the match reached its conclusion, QPR led City with a lead of 2 goals to 1.

Even though Manchester City are the new champions of England, Ronaldo has maintained that United would still remain the team to beat in the Premier League.
While talking to reporters, the 27-year-old quoted:
"I saw a few days ago (City scored) two goals in the last minute, 91 and 93. I had a bet that Manchester United would win the league but I lost," "I feel very disappointed because United is still in my heart.
"City have a fantastic team now, but I think Manchester (United) will carry on being king of England in my opinion."
Heavy spenders, Manchester City, have finally managed to win the Premier League title after a long long time. Can they continue this run? It will be very interesting to find out.
