The Real Madrid attacker has let known his desire of winning the biggest Club competition with the Spanish giants and has denied a rift with manager Jose Mourinho.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 has stated that he dreams of being a part of Real Madrid’s 10th successful chase of the elite European crown.
Ronaldo was signed from English giants Manchester United in the summer of 2009 after smashing all the previous world transfer records in the books.
Ronaldo had formerly joined United from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon as a teenager and went on to achieve great heights with the Old Trafford based club.
The current http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 captain, back in 2007, became the only player in the history of the famous game to have been crowned as the FIFA World Player of The Year and the Ballon d’Or winner from the Barclays Premier League.
Ronaldo’s tremendous 2007-2008 campaign saw him grab 42 goals from the wide midfield position, which was another record to his name. The winger helped Manchester United to the glory of the Barclays Premier League and the UEFA Champions League in that season.
Since signing for Madrid, Ronaldo has been in even more disastrous form and has almost averaged a goal a game with the Capital side.
Cristiano’s goals led Madrid to the glory of La Liga title last year, as Real finally brought a full stop to Barcelona’s local and global dominance.
The boy from Madeira just turned 28 a few days back and now has stated that he wants to taste Champions League glory with his current club.
“The Champions League is the [best] for a player and to win it excites me a lot this year,” http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 told AS.
"The first gift [for his birthday on Tuesday] I would ask for is the Decima [10th European Cup]. [It would be] something very special for Real Madrid after so many years without winning it and, of course, it would be also [special] for me."
“I have many challenges ahead, [such as] the Champions League and Copa del Rey with Madrid, because we know the League is very complicated [to win].”
Real Madrid are playing Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
