    BECAUSE SIR ALEX PUT HIM IN THERE AND IT WAS SUCCESSFUL.

  3. Well as a kid I was always brought up to understand the midfield as the "engine room" by my dad and coaches. In other words will do most of the work during the game and will help out in defence as much as possible so even though Ronaldo has been given a free license to stay forward by Fergie it is my opinion that he would not help out regardless. He is a winger which nowadays is classed as a forward but he is not a striker
