The Real Madrid star has threatened to leave the Spanish giants if his contract is not upgraded, following Lionel Messi’s signing of a new deal at F.C Barcelona.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 signed for Real Madrid from English giants Manchester United after a much extended transfer saga, which almost lasted 2 years.
The Portuguese ace completed a world record switch to the Spanish capital in 2009 and has gone on to make headlines since his arrival, mainly due to his amazing football feats.
Ronaldo has always been compared to Barcelona main man, Lionel Messi, and both of the super stars are considered the best 2 players on the planet.
The Portuguese’s situation at Real Madrid has never been consistent; a he has recorded in past that he was not content with his life at the Spanish giants.
Ronaldo also voiced his concerns a few months back, when he claimed that he was feeling sad.
Messi however has a very smooth relation with his employees and he was recently rewarded with a new contract with the Catalans.
The new offer is set to keep the Argentinean at Camp Nou till 2018, and in wake of Messi’s new contract, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-c9622 has also demanded one for himself.
Reportedly, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296.
Ronaldo’s contract at Real has never seen extension or improvement, whereas Messi’s contract has been upgraded for at least 6 times with the Catalan giants, and this has caused Ronaldo to demand for a more lucrative deal from his employers.
Ronaldo has done extremely well for his club since joining and his goal scoring exploits speak bundles in his favour.
The Portuguese attacker has netted in 169 goals in as many appearances for the Madrid outfit and is continuing to perform at the same level, may be even better.
Ronaldo and Messi are both going head to head in contention for the FIFA Ballon d’Or award, which is to be distributed on January 7th, 2013.
Both the forwards are favourites to win the individual accolade, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s Andres Iniesta being the other guy in the top three.
