The Portuguese international was pleased after achieving his latest individual accolade as he went on to dedicate it to the fans that have always cheered him.

The prize was handed over to the Madrid number 7 by the Queen of Spain. Her Majesty graced the occasion and gave out the awards to the worthy athletes.
The former Manchester United player was delighted with the award and expressed his happiness by stating that it is dedicated to the fans.
2011 was a good year for the prolific attacker as he was able to win the Pichichi award in the Spanish La Liga along with scoring the goal which helped them win the Copa del Rey.
Interestingly, the player has managed to improve his performance after 2011 as he has become more and more influential for Los Merengues. At the moment, the Portuguese national skipper is one of the most iconic stars at the Spanish capital.
While speaking about the award, Ronaldo revealed that he is immensely jubilant at being named the best Ibero-American athlete. He took out the time to thank his fans, teammates, coaches and the Spanish royalty.
According to Real Madrid’s official website, the 27-year-old was quoted as saying:
“It was an honour for me to receive such a beautiful trophy this afternoon from Her Majesty, the Queen of Spain. Once again, as with all the awards I’ve received, I want to individually thank all those who chose me for this award, but especially my teammates
