Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ali Carter, Stephen Hendry join ISM
Snooker legends, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ali Carter and Stephen Hendry have joined a sports management company, International Sports Management (ISM) for a global exposure of the game of snooker.
ISM is a renowned sports event management agency in Cheshire and was founded in 1989 by Andrew Chandler, Chubby, a former golfer. The International Sports Management has organised a vast variety of sports events for Golf, Cricket and Football and now it
is drawing its focus on the cue sports as well.
While speaking to the local media ‘the Rocket’, O’Sullivan said, “to join a global company with an array of stars such as Ernie Els, Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy is giving me the opportunity of global exposure and also that of our great game.”
Carter expressed his thoughts saying, “I never dreamt that one day I would be associated with the superstars managed by ISM and the great opportunities and doors this will open for me.”
The veteran, Stephen Hendry is also excited about joining ISM. He told the reporters, “I am delighted to have joined all the world famous names at ISM. I have already outlined my commitment to the sport and I definitely feel that this partnership can only
benefit me both on and off the table going forward.”
On the other hand, the ISM management is also quite happy and honoured to have the legendary trio of snooker and hopes that their involvement in ISM will strengthen their company and boost the popularity of the game.
Ricky Cowan is the head of ISM Scotland and has expanded his management program to snooker also. He is quite excited after having the three top snooker players in partnership and believes that ISM has signed the most dominant and marketable players of the
game and together they will such a valuable team.
ISM founder, Andrew Chandler, said that having Hendry, O’Sullivan and Carter is just an initial step towards the development of the snooker division. He also added that they are in contact with some other top players of the game to make the division more
effective.
