  1. ronnies been leaving snooker for years he keeps on coming back but if the game bores him as much as he says it does he shoul leave

  2. Ronnie battles with bouts of depression and is obviously suffering at this moment as was evident from his refusing to give interviews, the lack of fluid play and there was none of the normal flamboyance.  His fans mean so much to him that he wasn't prepared to stay out there and give a **** performance. He has apologised and he knows he has let people down and the rest is for Ronnie to work out but he will be back.

  3. Hellraiser Steve is bang on the money, He deserves the 10 pts for that answer.

  4. he is just a mixed up guy not much you can do about your emotions i guess he be ok when he has sorted himself out

  5. I know! Shocking is't it!

  6. He is an arrogant (UGLY) a*****e who has people waiting on him 24 / 7,   he thinks he can do what he wants.

  7. he is such a brilliant snooker player but there is something seriously wrong in his head.........

  8. I know.He usually runs.Very unusual for him to walk.

  9. You just said he didn't walk out, then said he did...

  10. Seems disrespectful to me

  11. i think he did the right thing...conceded politely and didn't do anything stupid....the only reason the governing bodies want to fine him is because of money, they are worried about sponsors etc and not the sport.....they should applaud him for not hitting out and handling it well

  12. The guy has serious problems and can't really be bothered doing a job which he gets no satisfaction from, no matter how good he is at it.

I dare say most of us feel the same way at times but he can't escape from being in the public eye.

Maybe a long break away from snooker will be what's needed to sort out his demons.

  13. Hi! I was very sad too when he gave up. This match wasn't even lost.

I heard he said something like: "I'm very sorry, I wish would have played better" and then, which I found quite nice:

"I had a bad day at the office"

Question Mark??!!   And then the usual apologies to everyone and saying it was such a great mistake.. blahblah

Hope he will be better next time. The Rocket Rules

  14. of coz he's not too rite to concede a match like this...but isnt this the ronnie we know?? evry1 knows he's a genius...n evry1 knows he's got something wrong in his head... last time it was the cue tip...this time god knows...as a fan i just wanna c him concentrates on snooker...coz we all know if he does..he is capable of winning everything(well im his fan..XDD)!!! but to b honest i cnt see him changing into the old ronnie we r all hoping for...its sad but then it moves on..

  15. Nobody knows why he walked out he refuses to say. Story is on the bbc website.

  16. First off he didnt walk out!!!!! He conceded which means he held his hand out and gave hendry the match because he simply just had enough.Hes perfectly in his right to do so like you can do in other sports too like chess, cricket and even tennis. The guy has some mental problems, thats been evident from day one,no matter what reasons he has for walking out,he can do so without being judged.

  17. I guess he has serious problem with his nerves, the question is can he recover and get back to the snooker table in the next tournament?!

  18. Ronnie has a lot of unresolved problems.  I don't know whether he's receiving treatment, or if ther is any effective treatment.

He is the classical flawed genius.  He is only interested in perfection and gets bored with himself if he can't achieve it.

  19. ooh not heard about that.....hes a moody sod anyway

  20. He has had bouts of mental illness in the past, this may be the start of another one.

  21. Don't know about Ronnie,as I didn't watch this time, but I knew his cousin and he was good crack.

  22. He left the gas on at home.
