Roofing, what should I do?

I have a deck/porch that use to have a tar & gravel roof. The hurrican destroyed it here in So. TX. What is the best thing I can replace it with? It has plenty of beams for support with a layer of plywood. What is beachum??? Is it good? Help, this is added to an old trailer house on a resaca.

You can install a metal roof right over the top of what remains of your old roof.
