  1. Your second link doesnt work.  Love the pink though!!

a good contrasting colour with that would be prob white, green, or a lighter shade of pink.

wish i could paint my walls...

  2. ummm well i think the red needs to be less scarlet i guess

    IDK?!?!?!?!?

    go for it

  3. I think i will be horrible.

It'll really box your room up, making it seem very very small.

Instead, make ONE feature wall. Its practical to make the feature wall on an empty wall if possible, with no doors or windows.

Im 13 and have a metallic pink feature wall. Its suitable for all ages, trust me.

Dulux has a very nice range of textured paints. Theres metallic, suede, stone etc.

    Really really effective.

Ive also bought rainbow fairy ligts, and hung them up around the top of my walls, like, with hooks. I put up a hook, then hung the fairy lights over that, then let it hang down a little and gotten some more fairy lights and hung them on another hook etc.

And dont forget that lighting makes the whole room that whole lot more cosy. In the very first link, the pink room has lamps eveywhere. If that roo had no lamps and just one dull main liht, it'd be very boring.

I have2 lamps, fairy lights and a pink neon clock hanging on my wall.

on the opposite wall of my feature wall, i've pinned a blue sheet with bright flowers all over it, and thats got the clock hung over it, along with he fairy lights.

My mum found these pink organza curtains from the op-shop, and ive taken the sliding doors off my built-in wardrobe and replaced them with the curtains, hing up by a piece of string. Theres a cute lamp in my wardrobe so it glives a pink glow to my room. I have a big wndow that i cover with pink curtains. I never open the cutains unless its summer, when i get a really warm afternoon glow through my window =]

Also, i have carpet but i cant stand floorboads. I frickin' HATE them. they'd make the atmosphere of my room cold and dull if i had them. I love my carpet. its beige by the way =]

If you have floorboards, get a big rug to cover them.

All i can say is, have heaps of fun and dont paint your walls too dark. Also, dont even think about painting your roof anything. Keep it white. It'll make your room seem squashed and crowded if it wasa darker colour.

    xx

  4. i love interior designing and i want to be 1 when i grow up so i know a bit, if the room is dark than yes it will look stupid i'm not sure about the lighting though so i world change it to have all walls one color than try to  have 1 wall like a contrast color like yellow and purple i would say stick with the red and use a brighter blue like a  turquoise

    good luck

  5. depends on colors

  6. Nah, not at all. it will look great actually. different color walls accent each other, they bring each other out and makes things look different. it also might make ur room look a little  bit bigger.

    go for it, be creative!!!

  7. ya  you should only the red not the other so good luck

  8. humm.. i think better go all red. i like it like that.. u could do something so its not just perfectly painted.. like scrape a bit so u get a nice pattern.. look at some ideas in art book. dont make it just a sure color. have little artistic patterns.
