Room cleaning tips????

hey my rooms a mess does any one have any yips on how to clean it?? thanks

You'll have to be more specific, on what kind of "cleaning" it needs.  There's "organization" and that is the first place to start.  If all of your things in your room are organized, then each item has a place, and that solves most of the problem.  What other kind of clean do you mean, if any?  Organization is Wonderful! I am a Caregiver,and when I go into peoples homes, other caregivers are "scattered" and everything "disorganized" and I Cannot! work in a disorganized household. I Immediately go around the house and start reorganizing (well, as much as I can get away with).   Start room to room, and put everything where you most use it, and take out everything you don't use, and put it in a storage area. Like putting winter clothes away, when it is summmrtime.. Once the room is clean, put things where they "belong" and the room will stay nice and organized.  Once you have seen how to organize your room, it will help with your thinking, switching over to Organized thinking mode.  This makes things so much easier.  GoodLuck...and Happy Cleaning!

If your current room arrangement is difficult to keep clean than I suggest that you rearrange it. After rearranging and redecorating your room I suggest that you attempt to put and keep things in the places that they are assigned. You may not always put your dirty clothes in the hamper, rather you may just kick them in the general direction of the hamper when you step from the shower. You may not always place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, but put them in the sink or set them on the counter. You may take your shoes off at the door when you come home rather than under the dinning room table. These are small attempts to keep your room and home clean, but it is a start. My room manages to stay clean because I attempt to put things in the general places.

well start off with making your bed, that sets the tone of the room, then clean the stuff off your beds, desks, etc. and then clean your floor last.

this is what i do.

step one:open my closet, make sure it is a big one to.

step two: stuff all your clothes and other stuff in it.

step three: if it is to full add tape to the door

Yesssss. Throw stuff away!! Anything you don't use pack up or throw away.. Dust all your furniture, clean out every drawer. Downsize!

this is my method;

first i pick up all the clothes [ that takes alot of the mess away ] i put the dirty ones in the wash and fold the clean ones up. then i pick up all the garbage [ wrappers, kleenex maybe even food ] and throw it out . then; i pick up stuff like cds and toys and put them where they belong, and then i make my bed.i also like to listen to music while i clean because it makes me feel happy.

shove it all under your bed and in your closet. jking! well, dust everything off and make your bed so your room at least looks clean. also if you have any toys or electronics put them up on a shelf or dresser. fold clothes and organize your drawers

Try divideing the room into diffrent spaces, and work on each until they are all clean.

When approaching your palace of a room heres the plan of attack.Go to one corner of the room and clean it first.Then proceed all around the room and throw all the junk in the middle of room and then last set down in the floor and go through and pick up and move around and toss out what ya dont need.A waste can and a  broom will come in handy and a nice little dustcloth or i like mr.feather duster.Turn on a good  cd and clean to your hearts content and soon your palace will be that fit for a queen or a princess again there ya go .

I usually just stuff things in my drawers or something just to get it out of site.... and then kinda make sure it's all neat in my drawers. lol.

so this is what i do. i can't do it unless there is music and i am in the mood. ; ) a CLEANING mood!

so, i get all the clothes that are on the floor and move them to a different room, guest bedroom, living room, whatever. then separate them into dirty and clean. fold and hang up the clean clothes. and then wash all of the dirty clothes.

while the clothes are washing, make your bed. put everything on it. everything off the floor, off the desk, everywhere.

then put things that need to be taken to other rooms in a bag, or laundry basket, to be taken to their correct spots when you are done with your room. then put everything where it belongs. pen and pencils in a drawer. hair stuff, make up, nail polish in the bathroom. toys and digital stuff on a shelf in the closet.

then vacuum, dust, and then show your mom!

oh don't forget to fold the clothes that are in the wash!
