  1. Perhaps a lighter tan is your cup of tea. Consider everything from a medium saddle tan to a pale sandy tone for the walls, outlined everywhere with white moldings. Matching furniture will create a neutral palette that can be easily updated with pops of color whenever you please.

    Theres a good tan

for the square rug, i would recomend something that is a darker earthy tone, with maybe small notes of brown or white to match with the walls without the blandness of everything being the same color.

for pictures, you can find trendy art pieces at tjmaxx, walmart, target, just something that looks sophisticated but not like oldish....

  3. i tink u can use.......................maybe a lite blu color or a lite brown like beige. Sorry no pics but go to Harvey Norman, iKea, Kmart - they hav tons a stuff. It will look mature if u hav postrs of bands and music.

  4. light brown will look nice

then you can use a navy blue bedding

also when your/if your buying new furniture for you room try to make it look like a college theme.. its s**y.. mature.. and you'll have pently of time to grow into it

    have fun wiith it

  5. ok sorry but your idea sounds kinda g*y. trust me i wud kno my brother is g*y. if you want it to look lik a teenagers room..(im pretty sure u r a boy) have it like tht light shade of brown lik you were talking about and just put like ur furniture wher ever but dont get a rug. thts g*y. nd then i guess you could have pictures but not to many. but dont do u room like it has to be all matchy matchy cuz tht is g*y. sorry if you are by the way

  6. I don't think you should get anything representing the school, but when you said "light brown", I was thinking Aggie colors, which are like burnt orange, earthy red, and a darker yellowish color. They're pretty cool. I put a link to some bedding so you can get an idea of the color. Also, I'll put in a link for Behr paints, and hopefully some colors I chose from their selection.

As far as pics - dude, you're a dude! I'd do like sports pics. Maybe a guy catching a football. A player swinging at a baseball. Someone kicking a soccer. Intense sports moments. Or, college posters (places you're actually interested in). Or, my fav, nature. Some black and white, eerie like, but beautiful and cool, forest scenes, or mountains. Think abou things you like to do and incoporate them in the nature pics. i.e. say you like hiking, then do mountains, along with various pics of other things you'd see while hiking.

Also, you could do the whole "rock/pop/hip hop" star poster people are so crazy over. These are all things you can find at Walmart, Target, Poster stores in the mall, posters.com, etc.

Also, pics are pretty pricey. So, you could always find one you like, and print it off online, however, if you want larger than 8x10, it'd be best to buy it from someplace.

  7. I think that all shades from chocolate to cream with terracotta too would be a good range for your room.

  8. maybe go with a lilttle light leaf green?
