Room ideas?? Plz quick!?

Question

My room is purple and silver... Silver glitter on the walls and dressers.. My parents cant afford to re paint it util 1 or 2 years.. I mean they can but they dont have the time.. Im already making like curtains that go above my bed on the wall.. Their like purple with lime and iris beads and rasberry.. Very cute! But i need more ideas! How can i design it.. easy enough for a 14 year old teen! I can do a little paint.. not the whole room on my own.. Help!

These websites have lots of pictures of diffrent rooms. If you cant buy something you like, try doing a cheaper version of it. Look at the walls, the accesories and everything in the pictures for ideas.

Those two sites both have lots of links to diffrent ideas you might want to click on.

My advice is to google, yahoo, and search everywhere for ideas and then see which ideas you could do the easiest and most affordable.

My personal opinion: The silver glitter might get alittle childish when you get older, so you might want to rethink that. You could try to build your room from your curtains. So maybe get a rasberry colored lamp, or lime bed set. Try to use the colors and style of the curtains in your room, so everything doesnt look mis-matched.

You could try wall art, buying art that you like and hanging them.

Or buying posters [ which is cheaper] and framing them with a cheap frame. They'll look just like expensive art.
