well here is an idea i came up with for you.

on one wall (behind your bed) you could have hot pink and black checkers

the rest of the walls can be hot pink

you could have black and white and pink zebra striped or solid bean bags and you could get a black headboard with ipod speakers (off of pbteen.com)

you can also buy black wire letters from pbteen and you can buy cork boards and paint them different colors to match =] and put pictures on

also you could put a glass vase full of bright hot pink flowers next to your bed.

I love this idea: paint your room compleatly white, and even paint your furnatur white, and then hier a spray paint artist to come and do graffiety all over every thing! If you want to see how it looks, just watch the film, "stick it". The main girls bedroom is exactly like that.

with the color WATERMELON RED on your walls. i have everything i just wrote down here and my room has an elegant yet punkish room. fricken love it. i just got it done i recommend it highly! the black furniture with the redish pinkish color looks so vibrant.

My room is awesome, it is has no direction to be honest, I have the colours black white and teal and pictures of 40s 50s and 60s style icons up on the wall, the furniture is modern but I would like to bring in a big gothic mirror in black.

not really sure what retro punk would include but I love Peyton Sawyers room on one tree hill, cause it's so original and so about her.
