My room is always get very warm and humid in the summer. It hits the entire house, but my room usually is the warmest. I don't know why. I have all the windows open and I have the fan blowing, taking the humidity and warm air out, but it's still very warm. I know a big contributor is my computer and my tv, but I hardly ever turn on the tv. How can I make my room cooler?

  1. If the sun is shining in your room close the drapes.

In order to make a room cooler you have to remove the heat and humidity.  That is called an air conditioner.

  2. i had a room in my house like this, even with the ac on it didnt help cool it off. so what i did was took a large dark blanket and pinned it to the sides of the window, blocking the light that came in. keep the fan in there to help circulate the air, and that should help cool it off as it did mine.good luck

  3. Keep the windows and drapes closed during the day, so the sun cannot heat up your room.  Keep your door open and the fan going.  Other than A/C, that is about the only thing that you can do.  Shut off the computer completely when you are not using it may help as well.  Open the windows during the night.

  4. Air conditioner.

  5. Lemme guess, your room is on the south side of the house, more than likely if it hotter then the others.  Other than AC, try keeping the sun out.
