Room not remaining cool via A/C

I have a very small room with a window A/C about 5000BTU. The room is very small, but it doesnt remain cool after i take the A/C off. Its completely sealed including energy saving windows etc.

  1. Don't turn the AC off.  The room will warm up again.  It's normal.  That's why most central AC units are on a thermostat.  You set the temperature to what you want the room to stay to and it will keep it that way by turning on and off the AC accordingly.  So if you don't have a thermostat on the unit, you'll have to manually turn on and off the unit.


  2. It's not going to stay cool after you shut it off.
