Once winter comes i am going to be getting my room redone. I am 14 so i don't want anything babyish anymore. ( i have little bunnies as of right now )= . ) I was thinking of painting one wall a very light yellow the next a light peachish orange color the third the yellow and 4th the peachish color. I was wondering if that would look good with a wood floor. Also do you have any themes that go with that color because i was thinking of having pots with sunflowers and stuff. Thanks for your help!

  1. Go to the paint store and look at some borders. That will give you and idea of color combos. If you find one you like put it around the middle of the room at chair rail height 36". Then pull two colors out of the border and paint the top half one color and the bottom another color. I did that with a room only I used moulding. Painted the top half peach and the bottom terra cotta. Turned out great. Go to allposters.com and art.com for artwork for your walls. Then go to flor.com. They have 18" carpet pieces in different colors, patterns, textures and themes. You can mix and match the squares. Have fun!

  2. That sounds soo cute! It will make the room look warm. Only thing I would do dif is choose a slightly darker/brighter yellow.

  3. Yellow walls-all 4-with white trim would look beautiful with the wood floors. The addition of sunflowers could be duplicated in pillows and a vase of artificial sunflowers.

Yellow is a happy and a positive colour and during the winter time-a time of decreased light- a bed room of yellow colour will provide comfort.

  4. i think that would be cool!
