  1. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "rugged brown" (# 6062) would actually look really great..

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  2. Paint a sandy color on the walls and a colored bedspread and curtains can always be switched out.

  3. I would take the blue color and go a shade or two down from that. Take a sham or pillow into a paint store and they can help you with the right color. If you do orange, I think you'll get tired of it real fast.

  4. I got that bedsread! I got that bedspread!

My room is painted with Orange, Blue, Green, and Purple Walls. The walls are blue and purple with (on the 2 blue walls, Orange, Green and Purple circles and on the purple walls Orange, green, a nd blue circloes!)

I think i would do the blue that's on the bedspread and even white! Maybe White and Blue Vertical stripes like this:

With the white and blue being even sizes!

    Good luck!
