Room to room TV without router interference?

Question

I have a wireless router (and so does my neighbour). The problem is that, because they use the same frequency, there is interference when the router is on (which is always).

I know you can change the channels and I have tried this to no avail.

Is there another method or technology that I could use?

Use router with wires or change into other model router.If you have only two computers to link together,you do not need a router.  Hook up an inter-change ethernet cable shall do the job well.
