Roomba 4108 does not charge

We bought a brand new model of roomba after a few weeks it would not charge called roomba company did not help left the unit for over a year thought to try it again bought a new battery replaced the old one charged 1 time and went dead in 15 minutes and smae problem recurred when plugged into a charger (for days now) continues to show blinking red light?
